Diagonalnie Shashki (2)

Diagonalnie Shashki ("Diagonal Shashki" - Диагональные шашки) is a variant of Russian Checkers. The author of the game is unknown.

Rules

The game has almost the same rules as Russian Checkers.

Differences are:

• Each player has only nine men.
• The men are initially in the corners. The single-corners point to the players.
• The men promote in the opposite single-corner or its nearest edge squares.
